Pacers Get Funky with Final Play but Can't Connect

BOSTON -- Tyrese Haliburton scored a team-high 33 points, but it wasn't enough as the Indiana Pacers fell to the Boston Celtics 122-117 on Sunday night at TD Garden.

The Pacers trailed by as many as 17 points in the second half, but they rallied to tie the game with just over three minutes remaining. However, the Celtics answered with a run of their own, and they held on for the win.

Haliburton led the Pacers in scoring, followed by Buddy Hield with 22 points and Myles Turner with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 31 points, followed by Jaylen Brown with 25 points and Marcus Smart with 18 points.
