Boston Vs Pacers Game 3

Pacers Get Funky With Final Play but Can't Connect

Boston Takes Game 3 of Eastern Conference Finals

Comeback Win Puts Celtics One Win Away from Sweep

The Indiana Pacers gave it their all in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals, but ultimately came up short against the Boston Celtics. Despite a valiant effort, the Pacers couldn't overcome a stunning comeback by the Celtics, who emerged victorious with a 114-111 win.

The Pacers didn't need to match the Celtics from beyond the arc. However, the Celtics' impressive three-point shooting proved to be a major factor in their victory. Boston connected on 18 of 43 three-pointers, while the Pacers made just 9 of 38.

Jrue Holiday overcame an illness to convert the go-ahead three-point play with 38 seconds left, but it wasn't enough to secure the win for the Pacers. The Celtics' defense held strong in the final seconds, preventing the Pacers from tying or taking the lead.

The Celtics now have a commanding 3-0 lead in the series and are one win away from an Eastern Conference finals sweep. The Pacers will need to regroup and find a way to turn things around if they want to extend the series and have a chance at reaching the NBA Finals.
